Physical Therapy

Physical therapists aid in developing and enhancing a child's gross motor skills to increase independence with movement in settings from school, home and within the community. Skills that may be addressed consist of balance, coordination, strength and flexibility.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists improve the lives of children by promoting the “just right challenge” in learning, play and social interaction activities. Skills that may be addressed consist of self help, problem solving, visual perception, coordination and self-regulation. 

Speech/Language/Feeding Therapy

Speech-language pathologists strive to help children communicate so they can develop happy and healthy relationships with friends, family and caregivers. Effective communication requires a combination of skills in the areas of speech, language and hearing. Speech-language pathologists also can work with families to improve a child's feeding skills.

Tummy Time

Tummy Time Method™ is a therapeutic tool which helps remedy: Asymmetries such as torticollis, plagiocephaly; Gestational and birth trauma; In utero / Gestational constraint (prenatal plagiocephaly, head molding); Postural preferences (torticollis); Nervous System Dysregulation (unsettled, fussy or irritated babies)

Orthotics

Orthotics

Our therapists will evaluate if your child would benefit from the assistance of orthotic devices. If so, we will assist you in working with your child's doctor to obtain the necessary insurance approval.

DME

Durable Medical Equipment

Our Physical Therapists help children with a wide array of DMEs - including walkers, gait trainers, and more. If you need help getting, using, adjusting, or practicing with a piece of equipment, please let us know.

Kinesio Tape

Kinesio Tape

This is a rehabilitative taping technique designed to provide support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body's range of motion. It also helps prolong the benefits of manual therapy.

Our therapists can choose from a number of balance-building treatments including: Bosu Boards, React Boards, and Airex. .

Biking Therapy

Biking promotes balance, strength, endurance, reciprocal movement, hand and eye coordination, safety awareness, and body awareness.

Visualize & Verbalize Program

Visualize & Verbalize Program is a tool to build language comprehension, thinking, reading, writing, memory and vocabulary skills through concept imagery.

Feeding Therapy

Feeding Therapy

Our Speech Pathologists will develop a specialized approach to address food refusal, selectivity, mealtime behaviors, and/or safety of food and liquid consumption for children with dysphagia.

Social Thinking

Social Thinking

Social Thinking is a social skills curriculum to aid those challenged in social situations. Our individual and paired intervention programs faciliate learning of social skills using this curriculum.

Speaking Devices

Speaking Devices

include stand-alone devices and applications for Ipads and other touch devices that provide a voice for individuals who have trouble speaking. Users can touch buttons to generate and communicate ideas with others.

TalkTools

TalkTools

TalkTools® is comprised of different Oral-Placement Therapy (OPT) techniques, training, and tools. It was created to add a tactile component to feeding and speech therapy, enabling clients to “feel” the movements necessary for the development of speech clarity.

PROMPT Therapy

PROMPT Therapy® is a tactile-kinesthetic approach to help develop proper motor conrol of oral muscles.
