Our therapists have built their careers around children. Many have been part of Therapy Connections for well over a decade, long enough that some of the kids who first came through our doors are now grown adults.

Our Story

Continuing a legacy of compassion.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue the legacy of Therapy Connections while building on its strong foundation of compassionate, collaborative care.

Debbie Brooks, M.S., CCC-SLPOwner & Speech-Language Pathologist

Debbie has been a speech-language pathologist since 2013, serving children and adults in public schools, daycare centers, telehealth, home care and private practice. After founding Street Simple Therapy in 2021, she joined Therapy Connections with a vision of expanding whole-person, multidisciplinary care for children and families.

From your first phone call to your child’s first session, we’ll walk alongside you every step of the way.

    Tell us a little about your child and what you’re noticing. We’ll help you figure out which service is the right fit.

    Insurance & scheduling

    We’ll help verify your coverage, check whether a referral or pre-authorization is needed, and find a time that works.

    Evaluation

    Your therapist gets to know your child, assesses their areas of need, and talks with you about what they find.

    Therapy begins

    Together, we set meaningful goals and put a plan in motion, with you involved every step of the way.

Insurance & Payment

We’ll help you make sense of insurance.

Insurance can be confusing, and you don’t have to figure it out alone. Give us a call and we’ll guide you through verification and help you find out whether a referral or pre-authorization is required.

We’re currently in network with Anthem, Medical Mutual of Ohio and Tricare.

We don’t currently accept United Healthcare, Humana, Medicaid, Medicare or other state-funded insurance, but other funding may be available through scholarships, county resources and grants. Our front desk is happy to point you in the right direction.
